Terms & Conditions

1. About Talk to Me Goose

Talk to Me Goose provides personal life coaching, guidance, accountability, encouragement and practical support. Coaching is intended to help clients explore their goals, develop strategies, improve confidence and make informed personal decisions.

Talk to Me Goose does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, counselling, psychotherapy or legal services.

2. Nature of Coaching

By booking or participating in coaching, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Coaching is not therapy or counselling.
  • Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric or legal advice.
  • No diagnosis, treatment or management of any mental health condition is provided.
  • Coaching outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
  • You remain solely responsible for your own decisions, actions and results.

3. Coach Qualifications

The coach is a life coach and mentor.

The coach is not a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, counsellor, solicitor or medical practitioner and does not represent herself as such.

Any suggestions, guidance or opinions offered during coaching are intended for educational and personal development purposes only.

4. Client Responsibility

You accept full responsibility for:

  • all decisions you make;
  • any action or inaction following coaching sessions;
  • your relationships, finances, employment, parenting decisions and personal wellbeing.

You understand that all choices remain entirely your own.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Every client is different.

Talk to Me Goose makes no guarantees regarding: personal growth; relationship outcomes; reconciliation; divorce proceedings; parenting arrangements; emotional wellbeing; financial circumstances; career outcomes; or any other personal objectives.

Success depends upon your own commitment, effort and circumstances beyond the coach's control.

6. Mental Health and Medical Emergencies

Coaching is suitable only for individuals seeking personal development.

If you are experiencing severe depression; suicidal thoughts; thoughts of harming yourself or others; psychosis; addiction requiring treatment; or any mental health crisis, you must immediately seek assistance from an appropriate healthcare professional or emergency services.

Talk to Me Goose does not provide crisis intervention or emergency mental health support.

The coach reserves the right to suspend or terminate coaching where it is considered inappropriate for coaching alone.

7. Online Coaching

Sessions are delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp or other agreed online platforms.

While every effort is made to provide uninterrupted sessions, Talk to Me Goose cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet services or platform availability and accepts no responsibility for technical failures outside its control.

8. Confidentiality

All coaching conversations will be treated as confidential.

However, confidentiality may be broken where: required by law; there is a genuine concern that someone is at risk of serious harm; or disclosure is required to prevent serious criminal activity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Talk to Me Goose and its coach shall not be liable for: any direct or indirect loss; emotional distress; relationship breakdown; parenting disputes; financial loss; business loss; loss of earnings; legal costs; reputational damage; or consequential or incidental damages, arising directly or indirectly from coaching services.

The total liability of Talk to Me Goose shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the coaching services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

10. Client Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Talk to Me Goose from any claims, costs, liabilities, damages or legal expenses arising from your own actions, decisions or conduct following coaching sessions.

11. No Professional Relationship

Participation in coaching does not create: a therapist-client relationship; a doctor-patient relationship; a solicitor-client relationship; or any fiduciary relationship beyond the provision of coaching services.

12. Respectful Behaviour

Clients are expected to communicate respectfully.

Talk to Me Goose reserves the right to end coaching immediately where abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour occurs.

13. Fees and Cancellation

Payment is required before each coaching session unless otherwise agreed.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will normally result in the session fee being forfeited.

14. Intellectual Property

All coaching materials, worksheets, documents, exercises and resources remain the intellectual property of Talk to Me Goose and may not be reproduced, shared or sold without written permission.

15. Privacy

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

17. Acceptance

By booking, paying for or participating in coaching with Talk to Me Goose, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
